Escroin Payment Policy
At Escroin, your financial security is our top priority. This Payment Policy outlines how payments are processed, held, and released using our secure peer-to-peer escrow platform.
1. Payment Processing
-
All transactions on Escroin must be initiated directly through our platform.
-
Supported payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, mobile money, and cryptocurrency (where available).
-
Once payment is made, the funds are securely held in our neutral escrow account until all terms of the transaction are met.
2. Fund Holding in Escrow
-
Escroin holds funds in escrow to ensure fairness and reduce transaction risk.
-
Funds are typically held for the agreed transaction period, or up to 30 days, unless otherwise specified in the transaction terms.
-
During this period, funds cannot be withdrawn by either party without mutual agreement or confirmation of service delivery.
3. Payment Release
-
Funds are released to the seller only after:
-
The buyer confirms that the goods or services were received as agreed, or
-
The agreed transaction period ends without any dispute raised.
-
-
If the buyer does not respond within a specific time frame (usually 3–5 days), Escroin reserves the right to release funds based on the original agreement.
4. Fees and Charges
-
Escroin charges a small service fee per transaction, based on the transaction type and amount.
-
All fees are transparently displayed before payment is confirmed.
-
Account registration and escrow setup are completely free.
5. Refunds and Disputes
-
Refunds can be issued if both parties agree to cancel the transaction before the funds are released.
-
In case of a dispute, both parties are required to submit supporting evidence. Escroin will review the case and make a final decision based on our dispute resolution process.
-
Our platform may hold the funds during an investigation and will release them based on a fair and neutral judgment.
6. Currency Handling
-
All transactions are processed in USD, unless otherwise stated.
-
If currency conversion is required, Escroin will apply the current exchange rate plus a minor conversion margin.
7. Fraud and Security
-
Escroin actively monitors all transactions for fraudulent or suspicious behavior.
-
We reserve the right to pause or cancel any transaction flagged during security checks.
-
Users found engaging in fraud will be banned and may be reported to legal authorities.
8. Policy Changes
Escroin may update this Payment Policy as needed. We will notify users of significant changes via email or site notifications. Continued use of Escroin constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
